Specification of Serat Fiberglass Resin
Chopped Strand Mat is made of random yet evenly distributed strands
(filament dia 12 µm) chopped into 50 length. Chopped Strand Mats are used
primarily in composites, these are structures containing two or more
component, in the case of fiber reinforced composites this is the fiber and the
resin. Original large scale applications included air filtration, thermal and
electrical insulation and the reinforcement of plastics. Hand Lay-Ups for
molding objects of low curvatures, or of small quantity, or object require good
finishing surface. End products include corrugated sheet, flat sheet, boat,
vehicle component, bath tub, container, water tank, table, and chair, etc.
